RESOLUTION NO. 209-84
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AUTO-
MATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEMS ON MIDWESTERN PARKWAY AND
MAPLEWOOD BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of automatic irrigation systems on Midwestern
Parkway from Jacksboro Highway east to the expressway and on
Maplewood Boulevard between Midwestern Parkway and Southwest
Parkway; and,
WHEREAS , three bids were received, and it is found that
Lloyd J. Taylor III, d/b/a Taylor and Company, who bid the sum of
49 , 600, is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such bid of Lloyd J. Taylor III, d/b/a Taylor and Company, is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with such contractor for the construction of such improve-
ments.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of November, 1984 .
