RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 100 HP
LOADER
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for
bids for 100 HP Loader suitable for use at the Transfer Station; and,
WHEREAS, a D-7F Caterpillar Crawler Tractor and a 613
Caterpillar Scraper was offered as trade-in; and,
A bid was received from Trinity Equipment Company accepting
both pieces of trade-in equipment and supplying the loader at the cost of
34,848.00; and, it appears that the bid from Trinity Equipment Company
is the low responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said bid of Trinity Equipment Company in the amount of $34,848.00
including trade-ins of the Caterpillar D-7F Crawler and the Caterpillar 613
Scraper, in the amount of $34,848.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager
is authorized to execute a contract with the equipment supplier for the 100 HP
Loader.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 16TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1984.
