RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING
THE CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN
ELEVATING SCRAPER
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the purchase of an elevating scraper; and
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Darr Equipment
Company of Wichita Falls, Texas, in the amount of $219,207.00; and,
WHEREAS, it appears to be a low responible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said bid of Darr Equipment Company of Wichita Falls, Texas,
in the amount of $219,207.00 is hereby accepted and the City Manager
is authorized to execute a contract with such equipment supplier for
the purchase of an elevating scraper.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 16TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1984.
