RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR CONTRACT A
TO EXPAND THE CYPRESS STREET WATER
TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls intends to expand
the Cypress Street Water Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS , the work is to be divided into four seperate
contracts, and the City has advertised for bids on the first
increment;
WHEREAS, the bids for Contract A were opened on December
11, 1984, and the Council has examined the bids received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Contract A of the Cypress expansion project for the
construction of a five million gallon concrete storage tank and
two concrete clarifier tanks plus miscellaneous pipes, valves , and
fittings, is awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, Preload
Company, Inc. of Garden City, NJ, in the amount of $1, 385 ,026.
The City Manager is authorized to execute the contract documents
for the City of Wichita Falls .
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 18TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1984 .
