RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSIDERATION TO BE PAID FOR
AN EASEMENT FOR A WATER LINE.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 194-84 , the City Council authorized
the purchase of an easement on Tract No. 2 , described therein,
for the sum of $1, 280 . 00; and,
WHEREAS , it has been determined that it would be advisable to
pay the sum of $1 , 500 . 00 for this easement.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT :
The City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase the 10 foot
wide water line easement out of the Day Land and Cattle Company
Survey, Abstract No. 610, described as Tract No. 2 in Resolution
No. 194-84 , for the sum of $1 , 500 . 00 . In the event he is unable
to purchase the easement for such amount, he is authorized and
directed to cause to be instituted condemnation proceedings to
obtain such easement in the name of the City of Wichita Falls.
