RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH MICHAEL D . MORRISON AND DAVID
GUINN FOR LEGAL SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with Michael D. Morrison and David Guinn for the furnishing of
legal services for the City of Wichita Falls in Cause No. CA 7-84-133 ,
Raul Vasquez , et al, vs. City of Wichita Falls, et al, in Federal
District Court, attacking the City' s method of electing the City
Council. It shall provide for the payment for legal services at
100 . 00 per hour, plus the payment of expenses .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of December, 1984 .
