RESOLUTION APPOINTING FOUR DIRECTORS OF THE NORTH
TEXAS HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the North Texas Housing Finance Corporation was
created on January 12 , 1983 ; the Articles of Incorporation provided
that the initial Board of Directors shall be composed of 14 members,
four of whom were appointed by the City Council of the City of
Wichita Falls; these four were Gary D . Cook, Howard Morris, Dane
Bennett and Henry P . Hodge, all of whose terms expire December 31,
1984 ; and,
WHEREAS, Article 1269 1-7 , Revised Civil Statutes of Texas ,
states that directors shall be appointed by the governing body in
the manner and for the terms provided in the Articles of Incorporation
or the bylaws, and the bylaws provide that subsequent directors may
be appointed by the governing body for a term not in excess of two
years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
