RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CITY PARTICIPATION
FOR UPSIZING OF SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM TO
SERVE DEVELOPMENT IN THE VICINITY OF THE
INTERSECTION OF SEYMOUR HIGHWAY AND
FAIRWAY BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls
provides for the City to participate in oversized costs of utility systems;
WHEREAS, a subdivision is to be built in the vicinity of the
intersection of Seymour Highway and Fairway Boulevard;
WHEREAS, it is to the advantage of the City to cause the
sewer system to serve that subdivision to be oversized so that future
development can be served by the sewer collection system; and,
WHEREAS, the developer has engaged a consulting engineering firm
and this firm has provided an engineering estimate for the oversize options
in which the City will participate.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Wichita Falls will participate in the installation
of a pump station and force mains to serve the Turtle Creek Plaza Subdivision.
The City Manager is authorized to expend up to $12,400.00 for this purpose.
