RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT 1983-84 BUDGET
UTILITY REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND TO
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls contracted with the firm of
Opex, Inc. , of Olney, Texas, to accomplish work under a contract for the
replacement of utility systems;
WHEREAS, the work provided for by the contract has been accomplished,
inspected, and found to be acceptable to the City of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, there were necessary adjustments in the item quantities
in the contract during the progress of the work, resulting in an amount due
the contractor of $3,880.00 greater than the original contract amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1983-84 Budget Utility Replacement Project is accepted by the
City Council, and the City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of
14,070.65 as shown on Pay Estimate No. 6, which the Council has examined.
