RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH SOUTHWESTERN
BELL TELECOMMUNICATIONS, INC., FOR THE
PURCHASE AND MAINTENANCE OF A REPLACEMENT
TELEPHONE SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised and received requests for
proposals for a replacement telephone system; and
WHEREAS, the proposal submitted by Southwestern Bell Telecommunications, Inc. r0
met all technical requirements of the City's request and offered the City the
most advantageous price; and 1
WHEREAS, the firm of Blythe-Nelson, the City's consultants on this project,
have recommended the proposal- of Southwestern Bell Telecommunications, Inc. be
accepted; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the direction of this Council acceptable contracts for
the purchase and maintenance of a replacement telephone system have been
negotiated with Southwestern Bell Telecommunications, Inc.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF L
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:

The City Manager of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby authorized to
execute contracts with Southwestern Bell Telecommunications, Inc. for the
purchase and maintenance of a replacement telephone system.
