RESOLUTION GRANTING LAMAR ADVERTISING, INC. , PERMISSION
TO MAINTAIN AN OUTDOOR ADVERTISING SIGN IN THE WICHITA
FALLS HISTORICAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Lamar Advertising, Inc. , has constructed an outdoor advertising
sign at 701 Ohio Street, in the Wichita Falls Historical District; and,
WHEREAS, on August 23, 1984, the Wichita Falls Landmark Commission denied
an application by Lamar Advertising, Inc. , to maintain the sign, because said sign
did not comply with the provisions of Wichita Falls Ordinance No. 32-84; and,
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls City Council has considered the appeal of
Lamar Advertising, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Lamar Advertising, Inc. is hereby granted permission to maintain the
outdoor advertising sign at 701 Ohio Street, subject to the following limitations :
Sign may be maintained for two (2) weeks.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 16th day of October, 1984.
