RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR TENNIS COURT RESUR-
FACING.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for labor and materials to recondition and resurface the tennis
courts at Hamilton and Weeks Park Tennis Centers; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Timmins-Anderson
Corporation for $67 , 541 .00; and,
WHEREAS, it appears to be a low responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said bid of Timmins-Anderson Corporation in the amount of
67 , 541. 00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute a contract with such contractor for the labor and
materials for tennis court resurfacing at Hamilton and Weeks Park
Tennis Centers.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of October, 1984 .
