RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT CONSTRUCTION OF THE CYPRESS-
TO-ALLENDALE WATER LINE BY THE BOWLES CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY AND TO AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls contracted with the Bowles
Construction Company for installation of a water line;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed at a total cost of $148,270.65
and the City has previously paid $129,111.09, leaving a balance due of $19,159.56;
and
WHEREAS, the work has been inspected and found acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of the Cypress-Allendale water line is accepted and
the City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $19,159.56 to Bowles
Construction Company for said construction.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 18TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1984.
