A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE PLANNING BOARD AS THE ZONING
COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, a petition requesting consideration of zoning or other land use
regulations has been presented to the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, Article 1011f of Vernon's Revised Civil Statutes authorizes the
appointment of the existing Planning Board as the Zoning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby appointed as
the Zoning Commission and is directed to prepare a Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
