RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONTRACT WITH
THE ENGINEERING FIRM OF BIGGS AND MATHEWS,
INC. FOR CONDUCTING FLOW MONITORING IN
CITY WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita has undertaken to locate and
repair sources of inflow and infiltration into the sewer collection
system;
WHEREAS, flow monitoring is required at strategic points of
the sewer system to determine the general areas of groundwater entry,
and to orient the follow-on smoke test program; and
WHEREAS, the Council has examed a proposed contract with the
engineering firm of Biggs and Mathews, Inc. , to conduct the flow monitoring.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The said contract is approved with a maximum fee of $25,000.00
and the City Manager is authorized to execute the contract.
