RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH ENGINERRING FIRM
OF CORLETT, PROBST, AND BOYD FOR STUDY ON
RENOVATION OF 1925 IMHOFF PLANT AT THE MAIN
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City operates a wastewater treatment facility
consisting of four plants rated collectively at 17 million gallons per
day;
WHEREAS, one of the four plants--the 1925 Imhoff Tank--is in
need of rehabilitation;
WHEREAS, the City desires to conduct a study to determine the
options for rehabilitation of the plant and to identify the specific work
and cost involved in each option; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Corlett, Probst and Boyd has presented
a proposed contract for such a study and the Council has examined the
proposed contract.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract is approved and the City Manager is authorized to
execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls, with any changes directed
by the Council.
