RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH NEW WORLD
CLEANING SERVICES FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES AT
THE KEMP PUBLIC LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for furnishing of janitorial services at the Kemp Public Library;
and,
WHEREAS, four bids were received, and New World Cleaning Service
was the lowest responsible bidder with its proposal for an annual
fee of $12 , 000 .00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposal by New World Cleaning Service dated June 8 , 1984 ,
to provide janitorial services at Kemp Public Library for an annual
fee of $12, 000 . 00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute a contract with New World Cleaning Service, based on their
proposal, for a term of 14 months, beginning August 1, 1984 , and
expiring September 30 , 1985, with an option to renew by either party
for a one-year period upon like terms and conditions.
