RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
BID FOR RELOCATION OF PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
WHEREAS , it is standard practice for the City of Wichita Falls to pay
the moving costs associated with hiring management level personnel; and
WHEREAS , it is necessary to award bid to a moving firm prior to the
next regular scheduled City Council meeting in order to avoid delaying the ar-
rival of the newly appointed Director of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to award bid to the lowest respon-
sible bidder for the costs associated with relocating the newly appointed Public
Works Director. The amount of award shall not exceed $7,500.
