Res 125-84 7/3/1984RESOLUTION NO. 4A5W RESOLUTION TO FORMALLY ESTABLISH PRICES FOR RAW WATER TAKEN IN BULK FROM CITY RESERVOIR AND RAW WATER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM WHEREAS, the City sells raw water in bulk form to a variety of customers for several uses; and WHEREAS, the Council desires to formally establish a price for such service. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The following prices shall be charged for raw water taken as an unmetered product direct from a City reservoir or from a raw water transmission line: Water for drilling oil wells = $0.25 per foot of well drilled based on the total depth (TD) reported to the Texas Railroad Commission down to a TD of 8000 feet. For wells deeper than 8000 feet, the cost shall be calculated on a daily basis as negotiated by the Director of Public Works/Utilities rather than on a per-foot basis. Water for other purposes (per tank truck load): Large transporter truck = $10.00 Self-contained bobtail truck = $5.00 In the limited instances that unmetered water is to be taken in a manner not prescribed above, the Director of Public Works shall determine an appropriate price.
