ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL REVENUE
FUND FOR GRANT REVENUE RECEIVED FROM THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE CONTRACT ACCEPTING SAME; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received approval for grant revenue
from the Texas Department of Health; and
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Fire Department and the Texas Department of
Health desire to enter into a contract for the purchase of pulse oximeters, oxygen kits,
equipment bags, and blood pressure kits; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
adoption of the FY 2002-2003 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDANIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Special Revenue Fund the
sum of $3,780.00 for the purchase of Pulse Oximeters, Oxygen Kits, Equipment Bags
and Blood Pressure Kits, and the City Manager is authorized to accept this contract
with the Texas Department of Health for the Wichita Falls Fire Department.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
