RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF BOAT LAUNCHING
RAMP , PARKING LOT AND ROAD AT DEER CREEK PARK AT
LAKE ARROWHEAD BY BOYD CURTIS CONSTRUCTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Boyd Curtis Construction
entered into a contract dated September 19 , 1983 , for construction
of a boat launching ramp, parking lot and road at Deer Creek Park
at Lake Arrowhead; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of such improvements has been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the amount payable under such contract for the con-
struction of these improvements was $28 ,800 . 00, of which $26,753 .90
has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $2 , 046 .10 .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such improvements by Boyd Curtis Construction
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to pay to the
contractor the balance due as set out above.
