RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF IRRIGATION
SYSTEMS IN EDGEMERE AND HAMILTON PARKS BY BOYD
CURTIS CONSTRUCTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Boyd Curtis Construction
entered into a contract dated July 1, 1983 , for construction of
irrigation systems in Edgemere and Hamilton Parks; and,
WHEREAS , the construction of such irrigation systems has been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the amount payable under such contract for the construc-
tion of these improvements was $26 ,033 . 00, of which $23 , 496 .82 has
been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $2, 536 .18 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such irrigation improvements by Boyd Curtis
Construction is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to pay to the contractor the balance due as set out above.
