RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF MCGRATH BROTHERS
CONCRETE COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS
AND PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS IN JAYCEE PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of roads and parking lot improvements in Jaycee
Park; and,
WHEREAS, five bids were received, and McGrath Brothers Concrete
Company, who bid $256 ,715 .75 (consisting of a primary bid of
129,784 . 62, Alternate No . 1 in the amount of $57 , 955 .20, Alternate
No. 2 in the amount of $18 ,716 . 88 , and Alternate No. 4 in the amount
of $50, 259 .05) is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such bid of McGrath Brothers Concrete Company in the amount of
256,715. 75 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute a contract with such contractor for the construction of
such improvements.
