RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR 1981 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT & ASSESSMENT PAVING PROGRAM VI.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Timmins-
Anderson Corporation entered into a contract dated August
4, 1981 , for the construction of the 1981 Community
Development & Assessment Paving Program VI; and,
WHEREAS , such project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications ; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and
the estimated cost based on estimated quantities was
524,644 . 60; however, on the basis of the actual quantities
used in construction, the total contract price is $552, 081 . 58
of which $513 ,221 . 30 has been paid to the contract, leaving
a balance due of $38 ,950 . 10.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the
City of Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized
and directed to pay to the contractor the amount due as
set out above.
