RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ROAD AND PARKING IMPROVEMENTS
IN KIWANIS PARK AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT.
WHEREAS, on February 21 , 1984 , the City of Wichita Falls awarded
a contract to Timmins-Anderson Corporation for construction of road
and parking improvements in Kiwanis Park; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of such improvements has been completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the total contract price for such improvements was
127, 273 . 08 , of which $114 , 545 .77 has been paid to the contractor,
leaving a balance due of $12 ,727 .31.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
The construction of such road and parking improvements in Kiwanis
Park is hereby accepted by the City, and the City Manager is authorized
and directed to pay to the contractor the balance due on such contract .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of June, 1984 .
