RESOLUTION AGREEING TO PAY ONE-HALF OF THE COST
OF THE OFF-SITE STORM WATER SEWER MAIN SERVICING
THE PARKER SQUARE AREA.
WHEREAS, James Hague, owner of Parker Square, is going to
construct a new apartment complex on Parker Square, and is
constructing a new storm water sewer line to handle storm waters
collected on Parker Square; and,
WHEREAS, part of this line is an off-site line, and the off-
site line is designed to benefit other parts of the area that
experience flooding during certain rains; and,
WHEREAS, it is determined to be proper that the City share
in the cost of constructing the off-site portion of this storm
water sewer line, as it will serve other areas than Parker Square; and,
WHEREAS, the low bid for constructing this off-site line was
in the amount of $119 ,930 . 00, which is found to be a reasonable
cost for such construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Wichita Falls will pay to Mr. James Hague one-half
of the cost of constructing this off-site storm water sewer line.
