RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
A CONTRACT FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE WITH LIFE LINE
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES .
WHEREAS, proposals have been solicited for the providing of
ambulance service in the cities of Wichita Falls, Burkburnett and
Iowa Park and the County of Wichita; and,
WHEREAS, eight proposals were received and have been considered
and evaluated by a committee composed of representatives of the
four entities, which committee has recommended that a contract for
ambulance services be awarded to Life Line Emergency Medical Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized, along with representatives
of Burkburnett, Iowa Park and Wichita County, to negotiate a contract
for ambulance service with Life Line Emergency Medical Services .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of May, 1984 .
