RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONTRACT WITH THE FIRM OF CORLETT,
PROBST, AND BOYD, INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE
1984 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT WATER DISTRIBUTION
IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Falls desires to replace water mains
and services at various locations within the sectors targeted by
the Community Development Funds; and,
WHEREAS, The City will need to engage an engineering consulting
firm to perform the necessary engineering services for this
project; and,
WHEREAS, The firm of Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. , is found
acceptable to perform the engineering services and has presented
a proposed contract which the Council has examined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. , is
accepted and the City Manager is authorized to execute the
contract with any changes the Council may have directed.
