RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FRIBERG-COOPER WATER
SUPPLY CORPORATION TO SERVE WATER TO THE PERKINS
SCOUT CAMP.
WHEREAS, a request has been made that Friberg-Cooper Water
Supply Corporation provide water to the Perkins Scout Camp; and,
WHEREAS, the State Health Department has indicated problems with
the water wells currently being used by the Perkins Scout Camp; and,
WHEREAS, the Friberg-Cooper Water Supply Corporation is presently
operating at less than 50% of its contracted amount of treated water;
and,
WHEREAS, the Perkins Scout Camp is an existing facility and
does not constitute a development which would promote urban sprawl .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
1 . Friberg-Cooper Water Supply Corporation is hereby authorized
to provide water to the Perkins Scout Camp .
2 . Perkins Scout Camp shall not sell water to any third parties.
3 . The installation of the water line shall be in accordance
with all applicable provisions of the City ' s Plumbing Code and
State Health Department regulations .
