RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO CONTRACT
WITH TIMMINS-ANDERSON CORPORATION FOR THE 1983
HEATER SCARIFICATION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Timmins-Anderson
Corporation entered into a contract dated January 17 , 1984, for the
1983 Heater Scarification Project on certain streets; and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to expand the scope of the contract
to include twelve (12) additional street portions, and the contractor
is willing to the expansion of such project, which work will be done
at the unit prices included in the contract; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the additional work is $90 , 000. 00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto, to
such contract dated January 17 , 1984 , between the City of Wichita
Falls and Timmins-Anderson Corporation is hereby approved, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute the same for the City of
Wichita Falls.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of April, 1984 .

CHANGE ORDER #1
Whereas the City of Wichita Falls, Texas and Timmins-
Anderson Corperation entered into a contract dated January
17, 1984 for the 1983 Heater Scarification Project; and,
Whereas the City Council of Wichita Falls, Texas has deemed
it desirable to expand such project; and,
Whereas the contractor, Timmins-Anderson and their sub-contractor •
Cutler Repaving have agreed to expand said project at stated
prices;
Such contract is hereby changed to expand the 1983 Heater
Scarification Project to include the following streets :
Britian : Ave F to Ave I Earl : Mary to Singleton
Bell : Ave D to Ave G Melody: Dunbarton to Singleton
Ave I : Giddings to Bell Dunbarton : Melody to Sweetbriar
Ave H : Taylor to Monroe — Ellingham Hamilton to Harrison
Roberts : Vanburen to 10th vElowning : Harrison to Hamilton
Harrison : Roberts to 10th Martin : Speedway to Taft
Such quantities as needed to heater scarify these streets shall
be paid at the contract unit price , 'he estimate. • crease in
