RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE REMODELING OF THE CITY
JAIL JUVENILE CELLS BY GEORGE BERRE, GENERAL
CONTRACTOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and George Berre, General
Contractor, entered into a contract dated January 3 , 1984 , for
the remodeling of the City jail juvenile cells ; and,
WHEREAS, such contractor has completed this project in accord-
ance with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the contract price for such project was $15, 500 .00 ,
of which $6 , 000 .00 has been paid to the contractor, leaving a
balance due of $9 , 500 .00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The remodeling of the City jail juvenile cells is hereby
accepted by the City, and the City Manager is authorized to pay to
the contractor the sum of $9 , 000 . 00 , retaining the sum of $500 . 00 as
a guarantee for one (1) year .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of April, 1984 .
