RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR 1982 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROGRAM VII.
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls and Dircon
Corporation entered into a contract dated February 2 ,
1982 , for the construction of the 1982 Community Development
Paving Program VII ; and,
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications ; and,
WHEREAS , such contract was a unit price contract, and
the estimated cost based on estimated quantities was
379 ,240. 80 ; however, on the basis of the actual quantities
used in the construction, the total contract price is
371 , 009. 72, of which $344 ,521 . 74 has been paid to the
contract, leaving a balance due of $26,487. 98.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the
City of Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized
and directed to pay to the contractor the amount due as
set out above.
