RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF WICHITA RIVER
GREENBELT PROJECT, PHASE I , AND AUTHORIZING FINAL
PAYMENT TO ZACK BURKETT CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Zack Burkett Co.
entered into a contract dated July 14 , 1983, whereby the contractor
agreed to construct certain improvements known as Wichita River
Greenbelt Project, Phase I; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor has completed the construction of
such improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications;
and,
WHEREAS, the total contract price for such project was
366, 628 . 25 , of which $322, 841 .44 has been paid to the contractor ,
leaving a balance due of $43 ,786 . 81 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of the improvements known as Wichita River
Greenbelt Project, Phase I by Zack Burkett Co. is hereby accepted by
the City, and the City Manager is authorized to pay to such contractor
the balance due as set out above.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of April, 1984 .
