RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL ESTIMATE AND
ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF THE WATER TREATMENT
PLANT IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 1, SECTION 1
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Brown-McKee, Inc. ,
contractor, entered into a contract in March 1982, wherein said contractor
agreed to construct the Water Plant Improvements, Contract 1, Section 1;
and,
WHEREAS, said construction has been completed and inspected
in accordance with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the final estimate has been submitted which shows a
total amount of work in place of $564,309.90 of which $553,023.70 has
been paid to the contractor leaving a balance due of $11,286.20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of the Water Treatment Plant Improvements,
Contract 1, Section 1 are hereby accepted by the City of Wichita Falls,
the final estimate is approved, and the City Manager is authorized to
pay the amount due of $11,286.20.
