RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY MANAGER TO
SIGN APPLICATIONS AND AMENDMENTS TO WATER USE PERMITS BEFORE
THE TEXAS WATER COMMISSION AND TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE ANY FUTURE ACTIONS BEFORE THE TEXAS WATER
COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, heretofore, on February 14, 1984 the City Manager
signed an application to the Texas Water Commission to amend
permit #1363 to permit a contractural amendment with the City of
Olney, Texas for the diversion of 1120 Acre Feet of water per
annum and the addition of another diversion point at Lake
Kickapoo, and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Water Commission has required proof of
the City Manager's authorization to represent the City in this
regard, and,
WHEREAS, the city from time to time may need to process
applications and amendments before the Texas Water Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council hereby ratifies the authority of the City
Manager to sign such application for amendment to Permit 1363.The
City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to sign all
future instruments that may be required before the Texas Water
Commission.
