RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONTRACT WITH
THE FIRM OF BIGGS & MATHEWS, INC. , FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE
EXPANSION OF THE CYPRESS STREET WATER
TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to expand the
current treatment capacity of the Cypress Street Water Treatment
Plant from 16 MGD to 32 MGD;
WHEREAS, to do this, the City will engage an engineering
consulting frim to perform the necessary engineering services for
this project; and,
WHEREAS, the firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. , is found acceptable
to perform the engineering services and has presented a proposed contract
which the Council has examined.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with Biggs & Mathews is accepted and
the City Manager is authorized to execute the contract with any changes
the Council may have directed.
