RESOLUTION DENYING THE RIGHT OF TEXAS UTILIITES
ELECTRIC COMPANY TO PLACE IN EFFECT THE PROPOSED
CHANGES IN ITS RATES .
WHEREAS, Texas Utilities Electric Company did, on March 9 ,
1984 , file a schedule of rates for electric service within the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to become effective April 13 , 1984;
and,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of
Wichita Falls that the right of Texas Utilities Electric Company
to place such proposed changes and rates into effect should be
denied; and,
WHEREAS, a copy of this Resolution has been provided Texas
Utilities Electric Company prior to its consideration by the City
of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The right of Texas Utilities Electric Company to place in
effect the proposed rate schedule is hereby denied.
