RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH BLYTHE-NELSON INFORMATION SYSTEMS
FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATING TO
THE CITY'S TELEPHONE SYSTEM REPLACEMENT
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City's current telephone system is antiquated and no longer
capable of meeting the City's needs; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Blythe-Nelson has submitted a proposal responsive to
the City's request and provides the necessary expertise to assist the City in
its telephone system replacement project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute a contract
with Blythe-Nelson Information Systems for professional services relating to the
City's telephone replacement project based on their attached proposal . The fee
for such services shall not exceed $28,000 plus 50% of the refunds received due
to improper billing by the telephone company for current services.
