RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF UNDERWOOD 'S CONCESSIONS
FOR CONCESSION OPERATIONS IN SPUDDER PARK, LOCH
LOMOND PARK, WILLIAMS PARK AND SIX PARKS AT LAKE
ARROWHEAD.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for
concession operations at Spudder Park, Loch Lomond Park, Williams
Park and six parks at Lake Arrowhead; and,
WHEREAS, one bid was received on Spudder Park, one bid was
received on Loch Lomond Park , three bids were received on Williams
Park, and two bids were received on the six parks at Lake Arrowhead;
and,
WHEREAS, Underwood' s Concessions bid provided that 21% of gross
sales for food and 31% of gross sales of beverages would be paid to
the City at each one of the parks, and it is found that this is the
best bid on each park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Such bids of Underwood' s Concessions for the concession operations
at Spudder Park, Loch Lomond Park, Williams Park, Shoshoni Park,
Tonkawa Park, Pawnee Point Park, West Arrowhead Park, Deer Creek Park
and Ouchita Park are hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract or contracts with Underwood' s
Concessions for these concession operations.
