RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF TIMMINS-ANDERSON COR-
PORATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS AND PARKING
LOT IMPROVEMENTS IN KIWANIS PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for construction of roads and parking lot improvements in Kiwanis
Park; and,
WHEREAS, four bids were received, and Timmins-Anderson Corpora-
tion, who bid a total of $127 ,273 . 08 , including their primary bid
and Alternates No. 1 and No . 2, was the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
The bid of Timmins-Anderson Corporation in the total sum of
127 , 273 .08 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute a contract with Timmins-Anderson Corporation for the
construction of such improvements .
