RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH THE J. S. BRIDWELL COMPANY FOR
GRAZING LANDS AT LAKE ARROWHEAD
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls owns the land under and around
Lake Arrowhead out to the 930-foot MSL contour line; and,
WHEREAS, the conservation pool of the lake is at the 926-foot
MSL contour line; and,
WHEREAS, the J. S. Bridwell Company has leased certain lands
amounting to 764.5 acres between the 926 and 930-foot contour lines for
several years as grazing land; and,
WHEREAS, the J. S. Bridwell Company desires to continue the lease
agreement that expired on December 31, 1983; and,
WHEREAS, the specific lands to be leased are fully described in
the lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute the lease agreement
which the Council has examined, after making any changes the Council may direct.
