RESOLUTION TG APPROVE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH
JANE PENDLETON STEPHENS AND GAY PENDLETON
SIMMONS FOR GRAZING LANDS AT LAKE ARROWHEAD
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls owns the land under and
around Lake Arrowhead out to the 930 foot MSL elevation contour line;
and,
WHEREAS, the conservation pool of the lake is at the 926
foot MSL elevation contour line; and,
WHEREAS, Jane Pendleton Stephens and Gay Pendleton Simmons
have leased certain lands amounting to 104.7 acres between the 926
and 930-foot contour lines for several years as grazing land; and,
WHEREAS, Jane Pendleton Stephens and Gay Pendleton Simmons
desire to continue the lease agreement that expired on December 31,
1983; and,
WHEREAS, the specific lands to be leased are fully described
in the lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
T he CityiCt Manager is authorized to execute the lease agreementgg
which the Council has examined, after making any changes the Council may
direct.
