RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A WATER PURCHASE
CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF OLNEY, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is a regional supplier
of water and has Water Purchase Contracts with several local communities
and towns; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Olney, Texas, has applied to Wichita Falls
for a Water Purchase Contract whereby Wichita Falls will provide Olney
an emergency, supplemental supply of water; and,
WHEREAS, negotiations on the said contract have been concluded;
and,
WHEREAS, a proposed Water Purchase Contract is submitted for
consideration of this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with any amendments the Council directs,
is approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute the same for
the City of Wichita Falls.
