RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPRAISAL OF
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT TO ACCOMODATE
A SIX INCH GRAVITY SEWER MAIN AND AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OR CONDEMNATION OF SAME.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire an easement across
the property herein described for construction of an six inch
sewage main, and
WHEREAS, such property has been appraised by an
appraiser employed by the City of Wichita Falls and the amount
of the value as determined from the appraisal has been studied
by the City Council , and copies are now in the possession of the
Acting Director of Public U ilities.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Wichita Palls, Texas, that:
Section No. I The description of the easement to be purchased
is as follows:
A 15 foot wide sewer easement out of lot 25, 28, 29, and 30
Rancho Vista PLace Subdivision, with the centerline described as
follows;
Begining at = sewer manhole which lie= in the North lime of
a 10 foot alley and b=ars N 59 degrees 46 minutes E, 24.6 feet
from the Northwest corner of Rancho Visto Plac= Subdivision, Unit
2 as recorded at \/olume S, Page 189, Wichita County Plat Records;
Thence N 34 cecrees 70 W, at 9. 7 feet crossing a
fence line and c:ontinuing, in a1l , 1331 . 7 feet to a point in the
fence line, said point bein= 5.5 feet Northeast of the fenced
Northwe=t corner of lot 29, Rancho Vista Place Subdivision as
recorded at voIume 5, Page 49, Wichita rounty Plat records.
Section No. 2 The value of such easement is hereby approved and
the City Manager is bsreby authorized to purchase the herein
described in the name of the City of Wichita Falls. The
authorized price to be paid for such tract is the value as
determined from the appra.:sal made by the real estate appraiser
employed by the City of '4ichita Falls.
Section No, 3 the event the City Manager is unable to
purchase such easement for such approved value, he is hereby

autnorized ant Oirected to cause tn be institute d condemnation
proceedings to obtain such easement in the name of the City of
Wichita Fall .
