Ord 042-82 4/6/1982 z , ORDINANCE NO. ORDINANCE GRANTING WAIVER OF SECTION 25-69 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO AUTHORIZE TRANSIENT SHOW SPONSORED BY NOTRE DAME SCHOOLS ON THE SCHOOL PARKING LOT AND GROUNDS ON APRIL 30, MAY 1 AND MAY 2 , 1982. WHEREAS, the Notre Dame Schools are planning their sixth annual Spring Festival on April 30, May 1 and May 2 , 1982, to be held on the Notre Dame High School parking lot and grounds located at 2811 Lansing Street in Wichita Falls, and they have requested a waiver of Section 25-69 of the Code of Ordinances, which prohibits any transient show from operating within 300 feet of any private residence, church or school; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find that the circumstances involved in this situation are exceptional, and that such a waiver should be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The requirements of Section 25-69 of the Code of Ordinances are hereby waived to allow the sponsors of the Notre Dame Spring Festival, or their concessionaire, to locate a transient show, including amusement riding devices, on the Notre Dame High School parking lot and grounds located at 2811 Lansing on April 30, May 1 and May 2 , 1982 .
