ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTIONS 4-15 AND 4-24 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ALLOW THE SALE OF BEER AT
THE NOTRE DAME SPRING FESTIVAL ON APRIL 30, MAY
1 AND MAY 2 , 1982 .
WHEREAS, the Notre Dame Schools are planning their sixth
annual Spring Festival on April 30, May 1 and May 2, 1982 to
be held on the Notre Dame High School parking lot and grounds
located at 2811 Lansing; and,
WHEREAS, the sponsors of this event have requested permission
for beer to be sold at such Spring Festival; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find that the circumstances
involved in this situation are exceptional, and that a waiver of
Sections 4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of Ordinances should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The requirements of Sections 4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of
Ordinances are hereby waived to allow the sale of beer at such
Spring Festival at the Notre Dame High School parking lot and
grounds at 2811 Lansing on April 30, May 1 and May 2, 1982 .
