ORDINANCE NO.. 73-82
ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTIONS 4-15 AND 4-24 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ALLOW THE SALE OF BEER AT
THE CRIPPLED CHILDREN 'S LIVESTOCK AUCTION AT THE
4-H BARN ON JULY 23, 1982 .
WHEREAS, the North Texas Easter Seal Rehabilitation Center,
Inc. is holding its annual Crippled Children' s Livestock Auction
at the 4-H Barn on Midwestern Parkway in Wichita Falls on Friday
night, July 23 , 1982 , and this auction is one of the main fund-
,
raising events benefitting the North Texas Easter Seal Rehabilitation
Center of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, the sponsors of this event have requested permission
to obtain a permit allowing them to serve beer to the public at
such event; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find that the circumstances
involved in this situation are exceptional, and that a waiver of
Sections 4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of Ordinances should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The requirements of Sections 4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of
Ordinances are hereby waived to allow the serving and/or sale of
beer at such event at the 4-H Barn on Midwestern Parkway on July
23, 1982 .
