RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONTRACT FOR AIR
CONDITIONING SYSTEM AT WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to replace the existing air
conditioning system at the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant administration
building;
WHEREAS, the firm of Thomas & Chambers earlier conducted a preliminary
engineering study and estimate for the air conditioning system;
WHEREAS, the City now desires to engage a consulting firm to provide
detailed design and inspection services for the project; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract with the firm of
Thomas & Chambers for the said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The ro osed contract between the City of Wichita Falls and the firmPPY
of Thomas & Chambers for the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant air condition-
in system is hhereby accepted in the maximum amount of $2,400.00, and the Cityeyacpty
Manager is authorized to execute said contract.
