RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
THE EXPRESSWAY VILLAGE PARK, PLAY AREA
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Taylor & Company of Wichita
Falls entered into a contract dated September 24, 1985, for the construction of
the Expressway Village Park Play Area; and,
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the plans
and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract, and the estimated
cost based on estimated quantities was $41,376.05; however, on the basis of the
actual quantities used in the construction, the total contract price is $41,340.89
of which $19,987.07 has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of
21,353.82.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the contractor
the amount due as set out above.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 3RD DAY OF DECEMBER, 1985.
