RESOLUTION REQUIRING THAT FUNDS RAISED
THROUGH THE ANNUAL BOOK SALE SPONSORED
BY THE KEMP PUBLIC LIBRARY BE DEPOSITED
IN THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUND FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PURCHASING LIBRARY MATERIALS
AND EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the Kemp Public Library holds an Annual Book Sale to sell materials
being eliminated from its collection as well as materials donated by the general
public; and
WHEREAS, this sale is sponsored by the Library Board and depends heavily
on the voluntary labor of Board Members for its success; and
WHEREAS, these Board Members, as well as members of the public who donate
books for sale, desire that their contributions go toward improving the
facilities and services of the Library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
All proceeds from the annual Kemp Public Library Book Sale shall be
deposited into a Special Revenue Fund Account earmarked for purchases of materials
and equipment for the Kemp Public Library. This action shall cover the book sale
held this year as well as such sales in all future years.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of December, 1985.
